Handspun Pekingese Hair Shawl. My handspun Pekingese hair shawl. I knitted it using Elizabeth Zimmerman's Pie are Square Shawl pattern. It is very soft. It is knitted entirely from my Maggie's hair. No, it does not have dog smell.

Needlefelt Fairy. She was fun to make. I used seed beads for her eyes and lips.

Window Quilt Curtain. I made my curtains using my great-grandma's quilt tops, cotton backing and polyester batting. When we raise our curtains in the morn during the winter, the temp drops in the house quickly, they work so well. I think my way of curtains is very clever.

Elvis the Rooster. This was made of various cottons for my youngest grandson to copy our old rooster he liked. He couldn't go NEAR Elvis, but liked him all the same.

I knitted my top out of a silk and rayon blend I spun up previously. It is very comfortable. Pattern source from somewhere on the web.

The Blue Onesie was knitted for my youngest grandson. He is the model and featured on my avatar. He is a few years older than those images now.

Cartoon Character Blue Quilt. I made this for my youngest grandson, using a cartoon-character cotton fabric and cotton flannel for the plain part. This is the first quilt I have ever made.

Handmade Wool Felt. This is my first try at felting wool. It was fun. You get to abuse the tar out of the fibers.

Fish Hat. I found this pattern on Ravelry. I knitted this for my oldest grandson.

Blue Felt Book Cover. This is my second attempt at felt. I made this cover for my granddaughter. The cabs are beaded.

Made on my treadle sewing machine. I used flannel remnants as an overshirt since I no longer can find plain, well-made flannel shirts.

Red Quilt. I made this quilt on my treadle machine to put the squares together and hand-quilted the rest for my oldest grandson. The material is cotton flannels and cotton batting. I quilted down with #8 perle cotton thread.

Toto and Pekingese. Toto's hair is Newfoundland dog hair and spun by Stephenie Gaustad. Peke spun from pekingese hair. Both knitted by me.

The Bell Shawl. This is a bit of the edge of the Bell Shawl. The stitches are twisted. It was made before I learned to not twist my stitches. (grin)

Purple Felted Book Cover. A purple felted book cover using my first felt bit. The cabs are hematite, beaded.

Goddess Figure. She is needlefelted and beaded. Beading onto the needle-felted body was a new learning experience.

Pekingese Hair Shawl using a Fan Stitch Half Circle Shawl pattern. The shawl was knit out of Pekingese Hair that I had handspun for Wendy, a prominent Pekingese breeder. The pattern is from Traditional Knitted Lace Shawls by Martha Waternman. The pattern used is the Fan Stitch Half Circle Shawl.
